Decomposition: noun: the state or process of rotting; decay

At the end of the day, everything comes to an end. Some things feed on that end, creating a cycle of life and death. This simple tapestry brings the images of a rib cage and mushrooms to show how they can be linked together. Also, it just looks cool.

Yarn:
DK weight yarn. The yarn used in the photo is
discontinued Patons Wool DK, so use what you
need to meet gauge.

Yardage:
Color A (Natural): 276 yards
Color B (Black): 276 yards

Gauge:
20 sts x 30 rows = 4”

Finished Size:
14.5” x 15”

Notions:

  • Two sets US 4 or 3.5mm needles
  • Dowel or stick for hanging
  • Tape measure
  • Tapestry needle
