This christmas hat is knitted in the round using circular or double pointed needles. The construction is simple, it makes it easy to knit, even if you are not used to work with 2 colors.

SIZE
Baby (Toddler, Child, Teen, Adult, Adult Large, Adult Extra Large)

Finished size is about :

• 40 (45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70) cm / 15.7 (17.7, 19.7, 21.6, 23.6, 25.6, 27.6) inches in circumference
• 13 (14, 15, 17.5, 20, 20.5, 20.5) cm / 5.1 (5.5, 5.9, 6.9, 7.9, 8.1, 8.1) inches in length

COLORS

• Color 1 (C1) is ribs, deers and top of hat color
• Color 2 (C2) is the background color at the location of the deer

You can make a pompom in any color you like (or you have left !)

YARN & YARDAGE
You can use any DK yarn you like :

• C1 : 30 (50, 70, 90, 110, 125, 140) meters / 32.8 (54.7, 76.6, 98.4, 120.3, 136.7, 164) yards
• C2 : 30 (50, 70, 90, 110, 125, 140) meters / 32.8 (54.7, 76.6, 98.4, 120.3, 136.7, 164) yards
• (Optional) 20-40 for the pompom, depending on the size you want it to be

NEEDLES

• 3 or 3.25mm (US 2½ or 3 ) / 40cm (16”) circular needles for the ribs
• 3.5mm (US 4) / 40 cm (16”) circular needles for the body You can use longer needles with magic loop method, or double pointed needles.

GAUGE
30 stitches / 29 rows = 10x10cm / 4x4 inches in stockinette stitch on larger needles
