About
Delabore Socks are named after a little village in Cornwall called Delabore (Cornish: Delyow Boll) which has one of the oldest slate quarries in the world. Throughout Cornwall you will find a lot of places using slate, especially older ones, due to the abundance of slate around.

One of the places I love seeing it used in is the hedge banks (walls surrounding the fields) that the farmers made using this slate. One of the methods that is used is a herringbone design as it produces a solid result. The beautiful thing about these walls is as they get older they start to become more colourful and beautiful. They get speckled in lichen which produce different colours. The walls are also great places for wildlife to fit in the gaps and be safe from the weather.

These cuff–down socks have a beautiful Eye of Partridge heel and gusset construction to make sure that they fit you well. With five sizes you will be able to make these for everyone that you love. The herringbone design makes it a fun and easy sock to keep your interest whilst letting you not have to think too much.
