My grandmother taught me how to crochet, and while I was making this dress I thought of her. Her middle name was Delia, which I always loved, and it seemed like the perfect name for this frilly dress. This was a design that went from paper to finished item easily, and ended up exactly how I envisioned it in my head. From its flutter sleeves to its lacy edged skirt, it’s a little princess’s dream. The crochet edgings are not terribly difficult, and they add just the right finishing touch to this dress. Knit this dress for that favorite little girl in your life and she’ll be the belle of the ball!
