✿ An heirloom onesie, now in more sizes

Simple yet delicate, this knit onesie makes a classic heirloom outfit. It was originally newborn only, and now it has a fresh update with sizes all the way up to 12 months.

✨ What makes it work

• Four sizes. 0 to 3 months through 12 months.
• Optional ruffles. Add them with a third needle.
• Straight needles. Simple and portable.
• Button finish. Two buttons close it up.

✂️ What you’ll need

• Yarn: Andean Mist, Berroco (shown in Cerro Bayo), or Aloft Super Kid Mohair, WeCrochet (shown in Fairy Tale), or any lace weight (0) yarn to match gauge
• Yardage: approx. 60 yds (without ruffles)
• Needles: US 6 (4.0mm) straight needles, plus a third needle (straight or circular) for the ruffles
• Tools: Stitch Marker · Row counter · Sewing needle · Scissors
• To finish like the sample: 2 buttons

• 0 to 3 months (3 to 6 months, 6 to 9 months, 12 months)
• Width: 7.5 (8.5, 9.5, 10)“
• Height, neck to crotch: 8.7 (10, 11.5, 12.5)“
