The unisex pattern for the Delta Connection cowl provides two chart types: the multi-coloured and the two-colour version.

It is tested for sport and DK weight yarn with the same stitch and row number. This is no problem for fitting. Although the DK cowl is larger than normal, it is also thicker and needs more space to be worn doubled around the neck. By using a delicate Sport weight yarn like Wollmeise Blend (knitted with needle size 3.5 - 3.75 mm) you get finer stitches for an elegant look.

The cowl is worked in rounds. For an identical look of the border edges a provisional crochet cast-on is used.
The special slip stitch pattern gives a fluffy, squishy feel and the smooth i-cord edging stays in shape well.
The pattern - a mixture of charted and written instructions - looks complex but in fact only every fourth row requires concentration.
