Small moments tied to a memory, that takes you back to a place of tranquility. For me it is listening to the sound of a heavy rain, and the smell of it when it fist hits hot pavement. These moments bring me back to my childhood when the summers were filled with thunderstorms. The streets would flow like rivers and raindrops looked like ballerinas.
Deluge was inspired by this memory, when the water falling would preform a ballet and being a sense of stillness. Starting with the flowing rib stitch that divides into cables that dance along the edge.
