Deluxe Bucket Hat
Deluxe Bucket Hat is a classic bell-shaped bucket hat with an edge of twisted single crochet stitches. It is easy to crochet, so most people can join in. The pattern includes a multitude of options for variations with stripes, applications, embroidery, and instructions on how to use all of your leftover yarn for the hat.
SIZE
The pattern includes 2 sizes, which fit most older children, teens, and adults.
In the pattern, we also describe how you can relatively easily adjust the size of the hat so that it still has a good fit, even if made smaller or larger.
SIZE 1: 55-60 cm head circumference. 22 cm tall from the centre of the top to the bottom of the edge of the brim.
SIZE 2: 60-65 cm head circumference. 23 cm tall from the centre of the top to the bottom of the edge of the brim.
You find your hat size by measuring your head with a tape measure. If you do not have a tape measure, you can use a piece of yarn and then measure its length with a ruler.
Measure just above the ears and horizontally across the widest part of the forehead. Then choose the size that your head measurement falls within.
