Den Lange is the Danish words for “The Long”.

Den Lange is a long cardigan with long wide sleeves and lace at the bottom of the body. Den Lange is worked back and forth from the bottom edge and up. This pattern is made for a yarn with a gauge of 18 stitches per 10 centimeters (i.e. a yarn with a yardage of approximately 91 meters per 50 grams).

The pattern includes instructions for knitting a size XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL and XXXL with chest width of 91 (98, 105, 111, 118, 125, 131)centimeters and a length of 74 (76, 78, 80, 81, 82, 83) centimeters. Size small pictured.

The pattern is written for a knitter with medium skills, a knitter who is able to work in the round as well as back and forth, follow a lace chart as well as written instructions; and knows how to pick up stitches and make increases and decreases. (The directions is a combination of charts and written instructions).

Materials: yarn, knitting needles and stitch markers.
