The shawl/scarf was made for that skein that just would not let me out of the store or leave the website – even if there is a (not so) small stash at home and I had absolutely no idea what do do with yet another skein of varigated / strippy yarn. (II can’t be the only one with that problem…)

It should be possible to substitute the yarn for a different weight or simply make it bigger by buying two skeins - just start the pattern when you have 41-42 % left of whatever yarn you are using.
