Vintage Inspired Design

Named after my Granddad who passed during me designing and making this design, I shared it with him during hospital visits and it was one of the few occasions he shared how proud he was of me!
He was shy, gentle character who loved to spin a tale or two, we were very close and he’s very much loved and missed.

’Dennis’ is a close fitting top with a high front neckline and low scooped back neckline with contrast chain stitch crocheted through an eyelet edging.
Chain stitching can be Omitted and a lace or ribbon trim added or maybe your prefer just an eyelet edging.
It’s got a slim waist with deep welt to draw in and show off your womanly figure and half sleeves for a more classic feminine look. Dennis is also reversible if you prefer. Knit in pieces and sewn together. The end result is a versatile and elegant top that can be dressed up or down for any occasion.

Great for evenings, office and daytime, it would look fabulous teamed with a pencil, full circle skirt or capri length trousers.

Sizes

Fitting and Ease
Ease: No ease.
I have a 36” bust but I’ve knitted myself the 32” version.
If you want a tighter fit pick a size with 0-5cm / 0-2” negative ease.
