This little pattern is easy to make there are many colors but never more than two at a time. It’s a wonderful pattern for using up little balls of leftover yarn. You can buy yarn for the pattern colors and let your scraps become the background although the scraps should have about the same weight and similar fiber content.

The original yarn is no longer produced, but you can use any laceweight yarn that equals 2600 yards per pound.
