Gauge is not super important here, you basically want a tight fabric that holds its shape like what you’d get when making amigurumi

Materials Needed
Base hat:
3.5mm (E) crochet hook
worsted (4) weight yarn
yarn needle
hot glue gun or matching/transparent thread
1/4” elastic for band

Frog eyes:
3.25mm (D) crochet hook
white worsted (4) weight yarn
black worsted (4) weight yarn
-or-
black 8mm cabochon/flat back craft eyes
hot glue gun or transparent thread

Strawberry flower and seeds:
1.6mm steel crochet hook
yellow fingering (1) weight yarn
white fingering (1) weight yarn

note: 1.6mm seems to be an uncommon size; if you
don’t mind a slightly larger flower a 1.75mm
hook would also work (or 1.5 if you’re brave!)
