There’s something about diamond lace that gives many knitted pieces a classy look. This pattern offers diamond lace columns that can be knitted singularly as a scarf, or with additional columns for a wide scarf or rectangular wrap. Matching fingerless mitts are included to complete the set. The pattern repeat is fairly easy to memorize making these pieces a breeze to knit. The fingerless mitts are ‘one size fits most’ and can be made longer by adding a repeat.

The knitting skill level is advanced beginner or intermediate and above. Knowledge of basic lace work (yarn over increases, decreases), use of double pointed needles, and knitting in the round is helpful. The scarf pattern is both written and charted for easy interpretation; and the fingerless mitt pattern is partially written and charted to indicate increase rounds. The pattern also includes links to helpful videos. These patterns are fun to knit and the pieces make the perfect spring, fall or winter accessories.
