Spring is in the air and I couldn’t wait to make something to bring a little sunshine inside! These little hanging planters can fit a 4” or a 6” pot inside and also make a great gift to give to any plant lover in your life!

Supplies Needed:

• Big Twist Textile yarn, approx. 60-80 yds for the 4” planter, 108 yds for the 6” planter (good yarn sub is Bernat Maker Dec Outdoor, or triple strands of size 4 ww cotton. You could also use t-shirt yarn)
• Size L 8.0 mm hook, or size needed to obtain gauge
• 1 20 mm wooden bead for the 4” pot or 1 25 mm wooden bead for the 6” pot (optional)
• Stitch marker, scissors, yarn needle, tape measure
• A piece of cardboard 4” or 6” wide -A cylinder shaped pot, size 4” or 6” (You could use tapered, but it looks better with cylindrical)

Row 1: Ch 10, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each st across. 9 sc
Rows 2-9: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across. 9 sc

Finished Measurements:
Measurements are taken with the planter folded flat and does not include the tassel or the hanging loop. The 4” planter measures approx. 9.5” long x 7” wide. The 6” planter measures approx. 11” long x 9.5” wide.
