This jacket is knit in one piece and almost seamless.

The Dk 8 ply yarn is held double throughout. Aran yarn could be used instead, if the tension is correct.

It is knit from the bottom up and finishes at the cuffs, There is minimal making up, as only the shoulders and tabs require sewing. This jacket takes shape as you knit, by using miters and picking up stitches. The sleeves are picked up and knit in the round. The hood is knit in the round, totally seamless! Do not panic over its weird shape or the large amount of stitches, all will be revealed as you knit on. Simply follow one row at a time. Good luck and enjoy!!
