This easy lace shawl uses the Diagonal Fern Lace pattern from A Treasury of Knitting Patterns by Barbara G. Walker.

The lace pattern is a multiple of 18 stitches plus 2 over 12 rows. There is a reverse stockinette border 4 stitches wide on either side and four rows of reverse stockinette stitch at the edges of the shawl.

Gauge is not really important however it will affect the finished size.

Approximate completed size: 24” x 65”

Materials:
a little less than 2 skeins of Queensland Collection Llama Lace, approx. 700-750 yards
US 7 circular needles, 24” length
stitch markers

The pattern is charted.
