This is a cute hat I designed in honor of my upcoming cruise to Alaska!

It will be perfect for your cold-weather wanderings, too, or as a special gift for someone you care about.

This hat uses a diagonal half linen stitch pattern. It is a slip stitch pattern, and pretty simple once you get it, so you will only use one color per row. This is a two-color pattern, so two skeins, each in a different color, is required.

The pattern will automatically adjust for your own gauge, so yarn substitution is easy if you don’t get gauge but like your fabric. It is best to download the pattern and open it in Adobe Acrobat, enter your gauge and size, and then save/print the pattern.

Fair warning: I use combined knitting in the videos :)
