This quick project is perfect for cold drinks on the patio, or hot drinks on the go!

The techniques for this pattern are easy. You only need knit and slipped stitches to create the pattern, and only one colour of yarn is used at a time. This is a great introduction to the techniques used for “mosaic knitting”.

Sample shown in worsted weight cotton yarn.

Sizing: Sample is 3.75”/9.5cm wide by 3.5”/8.9cm tall lying flat; approximately 2.75”/7cm diameter unstretched.

It fits a medium takeout coffee or canned/bottled drink well, with some stretch to fit other sizes. The number of cast on stitches and the number of repeats could be adjusted for other sizes.
