This design reminds me so much of a cake with some pretty piping around the edges.
An elegant and chic skirt which looks incredible in many colours.
This beautiful fitted mermaid style lace skirt features a bit of lace and a bit of faux cables that go together to wonderfully. There is a tiny edging of crochet, but the pattern also has a similar edging that can be knit and sewn on, but learn the crochet, trust me, crochet and knit are a beautiful combo.

A cotton/linen blend is recommended to keep it sturdy and from stretching too much. skirts tend to get heavy, so the lighter and less stretchy the fibre the better.
I used King cole linendale for the lilac one and I must say, I love this yarn, even more that drops belle! I used Drops belle which is what I used for my off white skirt and most testers used.

Materials
3, 3.5 & 4mm circular needles (60/80cm (x2) & 100cm)
3.5mm crochet hook

My patterns are not graded, because 1 size does not fit most, we are all so unique and with the little extra measuring you will do, you will have the most perfect and custom fit <3

My patterns are 100% size inclusive and because of this, can be made for all ages, this also means you can use any needle/hook to yarn combo you desire for a different look.
The pattern has been tested by many women before publishing.
It is customizable in many ways, you may make it mini, knee, midi or maxi! You can opt for a completely different crochet edging for a personalised finish.

The skill level is intermediate.
