Make your very own Diamond blanket with this crochet pattern!

This pattern uses the overlay crochet technique to create the beautiful diamond pattern on top of the background.
The blanket can be a little bit challenging if you are new to overlay crochet, but with all the pictures and helpful text, I am sure you can do it! If you still have trouble, feel free to contact me!
After a few rows you will quickly get used to it and it will go pretty auto pilot :)

The blanket pictured is 96 cm/38 inch wide and 106 cm/42 inch long. The size is fully adjustable to your likings.
You can easily turn it into a scarf, a potholder, a coaster, or maybe even a poncho!? Time to get creative!
It makes for a great baby blanket gift! (I gifted it to my pregnant friend)

To make this you will need:

• Yarn. I personally used Scheepjes Colour Crafter, but any yarn can be used.
• A crochet hook the size that your yarn calls for.
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle

Stitches used are: ch, sc, dc, dc2tog, tr, tr2tog and their front post versions.
