This pattern is perfect for the beginner who is feeling a need to add a little flair! It has a unique diamond color pattern that is extremely eye catching. The hat has been designed to fit the average size woman’s head. The fit of the hat is also affected by the yarn choice, and softer yarns will create a more slouchy beanie. For this pattern, the knitter should be familiar with working in the round, knitting and stranding with two yarns. The Pattern calls for a 6 weight super bulky yarn. Approx 75 yards are for the main color and 50 yards for the contrast color. The pattern is worked with 13US 9.0mm and 15 US 10.0mm, both 16” circular needles, and a set of double pointed needles.
