Every hexagon afghan I have seen so far, has been in the shape of a square, with filler blocks and half-hexagons used to ‘fix’ the shape.

This afghan is different. I decided to embrace the shape of the hexagon, and just let it be. What came out, was this beautiful diamond shaped throw! It is different and I love it!

The yarn used is Timu, manufactured by Colours of Grace, and by MoYa Yarns. You can use the two brands together as the base yarn is exactly the same, hence the same name – Timu. This 10-ply cotton is thick and squishy, and works up fast.

I hope you will enjoy making Diamond for a Diva as much as I did.
