This diamond hatch poncho is a warm eye-catcher for cold days.
A simple layout, that is comfortable to wear, it is quick to crochet - especially in the wrap/shawl version - and can be made quickly.
This Poncho can be done in single sided or double sided mosaic crochet (overlay) with two or more colors.
There are 2 different layouts - firstly worked with fringes on the side - i.e. from bottom up and
secondly with fringes at the bottom, i.e. worked from wrist to wrist.
These different ways of working, creates many different neckline options: Boat neck, V-neck, square neck, T-neck, all with beautiful finishing edges. This tutorial also contains other diamond grid designs that you are welcome to try - you can also find the charts as an extra PDF file.
Of course, these instructions can also be used to crochet blankets, wall hangings, table runners, cushion covers, etc.

Ein einfacher Schnitt mit angenehmem Tragekomfort, dadurch ist er schnell zu Häkeln – besonders in der Stola-Variante - und kann bald ausgeführt werden.
Dieser Poncho wird in einseitiger oder doppelseitiger Mosaiktechnik mit mind. 2 Farben gearbeitet.
Es gibt 2 verschiedene Layouts -
erstens mit Fransen an der Seite - also von unten nach oben und
zweitens mit Fransen unten, also von Handgelenk zu Handgelenk gearbeitet.
Diese unterschiedliche Arbeitsweise bedingt viele verschiedene Ausschnitt-Möglichkeiten: Boot-Ausschnitt, V-Ausschnitt, Quadrat-Ausschnitt, T-Ausschnitt, alle mit schöner Abschlusskante. Diese Anleitung enthält auch weitere Diamant-Raster-Design, die sie gerne ausprobieren können - es gibt die Diagramme auch als Extra PDF-Datei.
Selbstverständlich können mit dieser Anleitung auch Decken, Wandhänger, Tischläufer, Kissenbezüge, etc. gehäkelt werden.
