These boot toppers can be mostly attributed to curiosity. Before I got into knitting as an adult, I’d never even heard of such a thing! But, once I got into the online knitting community, I quickly found out that boot toppers are “a thing”, and a thing I wanted to try out in a Canadian Winter! (Spoiler: they are amazing for a Canadian Winter!)

Throw in some inspiration from the good folks over on Patreon, a couple of hours of knitting time, and you have a pair of Diamond Lace Boot Toppers!

They’re knit in worsted-weight yarn, so they knit up very quickly, Any wool or wool-blend worsted-weight yarn will work up well for these, though I suggest a solid or a tonal, rather then a highly variegated yarn.
