I’m not really one for sparkly diamonds, but woolly ones are beautiful and don’t need a safe or a security guard - even when you have lots of them. ☺

The pattern is only charted, but that’s deliberate because I really want to encourage knitters who’ve never worked from a chart to give it a try knitting.

For those who’ve never tried it, this could be a good one to start with - the actual stitches look just like the stitch representation on the chart, making it easy to read and
I’ve set up a thread with tips to help you out : click here to go to the tips thread

I really think it’s worth learning to read charts (if you can even call it “learning” - not hard, REALLY) - I find I look at a chart and know immediately what to do, in a way I don’t when I have to actually read words and process instructions

Two of the four testers were not chart users, but both were won over (or so they say… )

Here’s a quote from one of them:

First time to knit from a chart other than for color work. The chart forced me to read my knitting and I found I made fewer mistakes. Would use a stitchnerd chart again.
Beautiful, fun knit.

So, if you’ve never tried knitting from a chart, why not give it a try? (the pattern is free for the moment, so what do you have to lose? ☺).

Many thanks to the testers:
