Made using the double knitting technique which results in two color versions and gives extra warmth. If you prefer, you can make it in stranded colorwork - this pattern is 2 in 1, you get instructions for both the double knitted and stranded versions. For your convenience, stranded colorwork charts are provided in two versions, depending on whether your main color is light or dark. Available in three sizes (child and adult), so you can knit it for the whole family.

S (child) – 44 cm (17.5”) circumference x 21 cm (8.25”) height
M (adult) – 54 cm (21”) circum. x 25 cm (10”) height

Yarn
DK weight yarn (ca. 100-110 m / 109-120 y in 50 g) in two colors. Ca. 110 (150) 200 m / 120 (165) 220 y of each color.

The sample cowl was knitted in size M with Woollala Retro Wool DK, Patina colorway (C1) and Graphite (C2).

Needles
60 cm (16”) or 80 cm (32”) circular needles: size 3.5 mm (US 4) and 4.5 mm (US 7) (or other, to obtain the gauge).

Gauge
In double knitting on 3.5 mm US 4 needles, in the round, after blocking.
18 sts x 26 rnds = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4”

In stranded colorwork on 4.5 mm US 7 needles, in the round, after blocking.
21 sts x 23 rnds = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4

Diamond Snow Cowl to żakardowy komin, który ciepło otuli Cię w mroźny dzień i przeniesie do zimowej krainy cudów. Wykonany techniką double knitting daje dwie wersje kolorystyczne i podwójne ciepło. Jeśli wolisz, możesz go wykonać zwykłym jednostronnym żakardem - ten wzór to 2 w 1, otrzymasz instrukcję do wykonania wersji dwustronnej dzianiny lub zwykłego żakardu. Dla ułatwienia, schematy żakardu występują w dwóch wersjach, w zależności od tego, czy kolor główny ma być jasny, czy ciemny.
