Diamonds was inspired by the stone that was lost from my engagement ring when my Mother-in-law was in late stages of cancer and we spent extended periods of time caring for her. I remember how devastated she was and how she felt responsible that it was lost in a place where we wouldn’t find it again.

It was my Father’s passing 12 months later that enabled us to replace the stone, and I can just imagine how relieved she would have been.

The third part to this story is that the special person who gave me the stone was almost lost in an accident recently, and very nearly didn’t make it to see our 20th Wedding Anniversary- Diamonds’ release date.

Diamonds is a top down sock that has a lace panel running down the front, with ribbing around the sides and back to keep things nice and snug- like a hug for your feet. The ribbing flows smoothly into the slip stitch pattern for the heel, to ensure a smooth transition.
