For the Remainder of Time, my “Diamonds Among Seeds” stole or scarf will be free.

All I ask is that you remember the homeless and those who rely on food banks in the economic downturn. Please make a donation to a local food bank or homeless shelter.**

In the middle of winter, the world around us is usually cold, drab, and void of color.

During this time, gardeners across the countries begin to browse through the variety of seed catalogs. These catalogs are enticing with photos of flowers and vegetables, grown from these seeds, that promise to fill the spring and summer with vibrant color.

Diamonds, just like flowers that come from these seeds, come in a wide variety of colors, with a range of hues and shades. Each diamond is unique, and each diamond lightens the world around it with color.

This pattern combines both of these themes: Seeds, promising color in the future, and Diamonds brightening the present.

This yarn also has its own unique coloring and shading. The variation of color will ensure that your finished scarf or stole will be unique unto itself.

It is my hope that this pattern brings you enjoyment in the present. And may the finished project give you or a loved one warmth, joyful color, and most of all comfort in many winters of the future.

This is pattern is written with the beginning knitter in mind, however knitters of all skill levels will find enjoyment in this pattern.

The rectangular stole is versatile, and would make a great addition to any wardrobe.
