Diamonds in Bloom Shawl
Diamonds in Bloom Allover I-Cord Shawl
Wrap yourself in effortless elegance with this light triangular shawl, featuring delicate lace diamond motifs along the bottom band and a striking I-cord edging worked seamlessly as you knit from the top-down. Designed in fingering weight yarn, this shawl creates a smooth, breathable fabric that’s perfect for cool summer evenings or year-round layering. The rhythmic lace repeats and polished spine detail make for a relaxing, engaging knit that’s as enjoyable on the needles as it is beautiful to wear.
Written with adventurous beginners in mind, the pattern includes both fully written instructions and a chart for the lace section so you can knit with confidence in the style you prefer. Whether you’re diving into lace for the first time or simply looking for a soothing, satisfying project, this shawl offers the perfect balance of simplicity and elegance.

Yarn for the sample purchased at the Hillsborough Yarn Shop (hillsboroughyarn.com) in Hillsborough, North Carolina.

Gauge: Can be customized to your yarn choice; Sample is 19 stitches to 4”/10 cm.
