Inspired and named after the diamonds it resembles, Dianthe features twisted stitches on a purl background that gradually slope inwards to form diamonds at the waist. This stitch pattern emphasizes an hourglass form and creates slimness at the waist, making Dianthe an attractive and incredibly wearable cardigan. Worked back and forth in one piece from the bottom up, the cardigan is split at the underarm for the front and back and the sleeves are worked in the round from the bottom up and are sewn on afterwards.
