This rectangular stole is knit on the bias from short end to end. It is shaped with matching increases/decreases at each end of the rows. It is designed to work with 16 mini skeins (original yarn was a SW merino with 87 yards/20 g per mini). It features a variety of different stitch patterns throughout, all of which are presented in written form (no charts are provided).

The pattern was designed to one of the advent kits available from Wall of Yarn in 2020. (www.wallofyarn.com) These were themed on Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, with rich Victorian colorways, but would work with any mini skein sets you have in your stash, or select your own joyful collection of minis or oddments of sock yarn from your stash. Note: If you plan to purchase the advent kit from Wall of Yarn, the pattern is included in the kit.

You could easily make this stole larger or smaller, depending on your preference by either choosing to omit sections within the pattern, or by repeating sections until it is the length you desire.
