If you purchase 5 of my self-published designs at the same time (they need to be in the same cart), you will get the least expensive for free!

This fun 2-color crescent shawl has been created to celebrate 5th anniversary of Vlnene Sestry, a LYS in the heart of Brno, the Czech Republic. Lovely girls from the shop translated the pattern for you too :)

The shawl begins at the center and is worked outwards to the border. It is worked in sections, alternating two stitch patterns: garter stitch and simple tuck stitch. Then it is finished with a simple lace border.
The sample shawl is worked in a solid and a speckle but would look equally beautiful when knit in two solids or two speckles.
The border is both charted and written out.

Size
One: approx. 160 cm/63” wide and 48 cm/19” long at center.

Yarn
Cecily Grove Yarns Goya Sock (75% superwash merino, 25% nylon; 400m/437y per 100g); 1 skein CC1 and 1 skein CC2.
Sample shown in: Swamp Monster (CC1) and Honey Bee (CC2).

Needles
3.50 mm/US #4 circular needle (100 cm/40” long).

Other
2 stitch markers, tapestry needle for weaving.

Gauge
22 sts and 42 rows = 10 cm/4” in Garter st measured flat after wet blocking.
The gauge isn’t crucial on this project, but differences will affect the finished size as well as the required yardage so I strongly recommend making a swatch and adjusting the needle size if necessary.
