The Dika Shawl is a triangular shawl. The shawl is knitted tip-to-tip sideways in garter stitch. The center section of the shawl is knitted using short rows featuring pops of colors. The width and length of the shawl can be easily modified by changing the number of increases. The pattern is written such that any modification in the number of increases can be made independently and will not affect the remainder of the instructions. Likewise, you may modify the relation between the top and bottom of the center section. If making such modifications, mind that the required yardages of the corresponding colors may change. In the sample version, approximately one skein was used for each section depicted in the schematic. So, feel free to modify this shawl according to your preferences, yarns, and colors!
