This ‘Dimple Blanket’ measuring approx 130 cm x 150 cm consists of 36 rows of 9 ‘Dimples’ using about 3 grams of DK yarn each. This is a perfect way to use small amounts of leftover yarn to make an Afghan or blanket in one piece without sewing. (Just remember to weave the ends in as you knit!). About 100 grams of contrast DK yarn is also needed for the garter stitch stripes separating the ‘Dimples’, and for the border.
The design uses short row shaping to form the textured ‘Dimples’ whose shapes fit into each other on consecutive sections.
The pattern gives details about adjusting the size of the blanket and using the design for other items.
