The sample dinosaurs were made using 2.5 mm needles with 7 ply yarn, and 2.0 mm needles with 4 ply yarn.
This pattern demonstrates how to make the smaller size (2.0 mm / 4 ply).

If you are comfortable with advanced-level knitted dolls, you will be able to complete this project beautifully.
