✿ Easter with a little bit of ROAR

This Dinosaur Easter Basket is made for collecting eggs, and all ages love it. Easter baskets really do not get any cuter than a dino with a handle.

A unique construction with plastic canvas inside the sides makes the basket sturdy, so it stands up to serious egg hunting and stays useful all year as toy storage.

✨ What makes it work

  • Sturdy sides. Plastic canvas is worked into the construction so the basket holds its shape.
  • Built-in personality. Safety eyes and stuffed details bring the character to life.
  • Handle and legs. Stands about 19” tall including legs and handle.
  • Year-round use. Easter basket in spring, toy storage the rest of the year.

✂️ What you’ll need

  • Yarn: I Love This Cotton, Hobby Lobby (aran, 180 yd skeins), about 600 yds. Colors shown: Aqua (A, 2 skeins), Turquoise (B), Mint (C)
  • Love a swap? If you meet gauge: Cotton Supreme, Universal Yarn · Kitchen Cotton, Lion Brand · Dishie, WeCrochet
  • Hook: H (5.0mm) and F (3.75mm)
  • Tools: Yarn Needle · Fiberfill
  • To finish like the sample: 2 black safety eyes (.35”) · Plastic canvas 9 ½“ circle (7 mesh) · Plastic canvas 13” x 22” (7 mesh), or smaller 10” x 13” sheets
