“Dion”

These arm/hand warmers take their name from the Gaelic word for protection.

I wanted to tie them into an Outlander episode where, protection and love from family members provides strength, safety and wellbeing. I was thinking of them in an armoury kind of way, almost a female going into emotional and physical battle.

The pattern contains the instructions for creating the two different lengths of the warmers.

They are knitted flat and then flat seamed together, so no juggling working in the round, and are perfect for that special skein of luxury yarn you have waiting to use. You can either finish them with or without the thumb hole
They are created in DK weight yarn.
Perfect for a quick gift or to simply give your own arms a treat.
