This shawl is the third one in the Minerals collection, which features patterns with stripes and lace.
This shawl is casual and elegant at the same time, and depending on the yarn you choose it is an extremely versatile piece. You can choose contrasting or complimentary colours: the possibilities are endless.
The Dioptase shawl combines two different yarns, not only in colour, but in material too: a smooth DK weight yarn and a fluffy/brushed yarn. The shawl is knitted from top down, with 3 sections, which give the beautiful crescent shape. The plain stockinette body is periodically broken with the contrast color, and the edging is an Estonian lace stitch motif. The pattern is written for 4 sizes from a small one to a really huge. The instructions for the lace include both written and charted versions.
The pattern was tech edited and tested.
