I wanted to create something simple, with texture, that could show off the true beauty of this unique gradient yarn, and that’s how Dip in Blue was born.

Knitting this shawl is easier than you might think.
Written instrutions row by row slowly unfolds itself, without using any complicated techniques.

Dip in Blue is a triangle shaping shawl, designed in a fun exciting way, but still making your knitting easy enough to relax; also the possibilities to wear this shawl are almost endless.

across top – 66” / 168 cm
height in center – 26” / 62 cm,
measurements were taken after blocking, rested and slightly streched

Materials
any fingering weight yarn, for your reference I used Denim colorway of Gradient half skeins set by Snailyarn, 100% superwash merino single ply, 5 x 1.76 oz = 8.82 oz / 1000 yds (5 x 50g = 250 g / 915 m)

Needles
size US 4 (3.5mm) at least 32” / 80 cm circulars or size to obtain correct gauge

Gauge
26 sts x 42 rows = 4”(10cm) in pleat st patt on US 4 (3.5mm) needles;
Select a yarn that has a recommended gauge of 24-28 sts /
4”(10 cm) and drapes well after blocking.
