This is big assymetrical triangular shawl incorporates alternating stripe and solid sections, an eyelet mesh border, and a “disco ball” bind off. While the pattern is fully written out, our blog offers a few extra features that we were not able to fit on a single piece of paper: a color sequence diagram, a schematic, suggestions on how to make the shawl shorter (it is rather big!), and a photo tutorial on how to do the bobbls for the disco ball bind off.

Materials needed:

  • Yarn - fingering weight, approx 435-450 yards MC, 275-300 yards CC. Sample is made in MollyGirl Diva in colors That’s the Way I Like It (Disco II) for MC and Funkytown (Disco I) for CC. Buy these 3 Kittens Needle Arts exlcusive colorways here.
  • Needles - US 6/4.0mm 32” circular; US 8/5.0mm circular, straight or dpn for the bind off

Happy knitting!
