I have used my chevron stripes dishcloth for inspiration many times. It’s a perfect stitch pattern to use as a foundation or starting point to a fabulous design. I also have found it to be an excellent unisex stitch pattern. My husband actually does the dishes more often than I do. So last Christmas I knitted him a few Chevron Stripes dishcloths for his Stocking worked up in his favorite colors. I also believe it’s a great stitch pattern choice, for both guys and gals, when designing scarves, sweaters, and afghans; the choices are endless.

Materials I used - Lily/Sugar’n Cream. Color - #01699/Tangerine. Size US6 (4mm) knitting needles.

Gauge - 18sts/4″ in the Chevron Stripes stitch pattern. I’ve included the pattern repeat and chart.

Enjoy ~
