I needed a hat for a gentleman with graying hair and beard and wanted a warm, versatile, unique hat for both work and play.

This hat can be worn on either side. I prefer the purl side so I placed the label there. It can still be worn on the other side.

Knit from the bottom up, there’s ribbing at both the start and finish. (At the top it decreases from
K2, P2 to K1, P1 (with combined stitches before the final decrease rounds) to keep the lines all in sync.) This was recently updated as error occurred in original.

There is a rectangle for placement of label, decal, needlework, etc.
