These are perfect holiday socks! Divehi socks are designed for brainless knitting on an airplane, on the beach or when just hanging out with friends. You can chit and chat and still stay on track.

Yes, you might think vanillas are perfect for situations like those - but if you want some tiny structure, go with these.

The pattern is written for lighter (approx. 400-425 m/100 g) and heavier (approx. 350 m/100 g) sock yarn. Because the heavier yarn pattern has less stitches, you can also make a size smaller socks with lighter yarn by just following heavier sock stitch number. So 2 sizes for lighter yarn.

The pattern is slim, but wet blocking relaxes it if you need more space. The heel is my favorite, wrap and turn heel with no holes, so you don’t need to pick up stitches after heel flap. Wohoo! There are also more stitches on leg than on foot so they would be comfortable.

These are perfect for speckled yarn: slipping stitches kind of “mixes” the yarn so it makes the color way smoother.
