A lovely cowl to go with the matching hat and mitts patterns. Start with a beautiful picot hem, add a band of simple stranded work in the center and finish it off with ribbing to bring it in a bit at the chin. Quick and easy!

Experiment a little with the colors if you like. The middle rows of dots only take about a yard of yarn each so you can use up even the smallest scraps.

Finished measurements: 8” tall, top edge 21”, bottom edge 26”.

Yarn: Heavy Worsted/Aran Weight yarn of your choice.
Main Color: 104 yds, 132 m; Contrast Color: 77 yds, 70 m.

Optional contrast: Each row of dots takes just over 1 yd (1 m) of yarn. Great place to use up the scraps if you wish!
