Dixie Creek is a wide triangular shawl with simple lace panels and delicate, feminine edging. It’s knit top down in alternating sections of stockinette, garter, and lace stitch patterns, bordered with picots and blocked to a drapey, lacy, wide shawl. This shawl is named for a camp ground in northern Utah
with beautiful mountain views. It’s a little bit country and a little bit refined.

The lace sections are charted and written out and I’ve included a section guide to track your stitch counts, keeping this shawl as easy to knit as it is beautiful.

Yarn: 300 grams fingering weight yarn - 1200 yarns/ 1097 meters. I recommend merino blended with either silk, alpaca, or yak or if using 100% merino, use single ply yarn for a beautiful drapey quality.
