My Dixie Creek Shawl is a delicate, lacy dream that I absolutely love. But sometimes you need something a little warmer and easier to wear. This cowl takes all the same elements such as squishy garter stitch, easy stockinette, simple lace, and a beautiful picot bind off, and makes them new in this pull-on, worsted weight cowl. You get all the style of a shawl with the
ease of wearing a cowl.

Cowl begins with a garter tab cast on. It is then knit flat for the first part and then joined and worked in the round, finishing with a generous picot bind off for a dramatic touch.

Measurements - 28 in/ 70 cm circumference by 15 in/ 38 cm deep at lowest point.

Yarn: 218 yds/ 200 m to 100 grams of worsted weight yarn. I used Big Sky Yarn Co Big Sky Worsted in the colorway Kindred Spirits. I used every last inch of this skein. If you have less yardage or your gauge differs much, you will want to have a second skein on hand. Alternatively, you could work your last row and your bind off with a contrasting color for a lovely effect.
