I love vests! They look great on everyone. They give you just the right amount of indoor warmth and can be mixed and matched with shirts, pants or skirts for oodles of options. Best of all, the smaller canvas encourages me to try out techniques and looks I might be afraid of on a larger scale. Less yarn, less time and more choices—what more could you ask for?

This particular vest’s curvy pattern and shape reminded me of a magic lamp and working all those slip-stitches and ending up with a colorful pattern always feels like a bit of magic. Djinn are said to be able to change their shape, to not always be what they seem to be, and to have mysterious magical abilities. I figured that sounded like a description for a great vest.
