This pattern is a great way to use the DK Mini Skeins you’ve picked up along the way. Just select between 5 and 10 Mini Skeins (approximately 20 grams each) that coordinate well together.

The pattern starts with a little bit of interest, worked in rows, which makes joining in the round without twisting much easier. The main part cruises along in Half-Double Crochets, then there’s a little bit of matching interest to finish it all off.

So, where does the “Magic” come in? MAGIC KNOTS! Joining the skeins together using Magic Knots allows you to make one big yarn cake to work from.
