The second item in the Pit Stop Collection is the Track Limit Socks in DK. This two-in-one pattern is designed to mimic the iconic red and white track limits of an F1 track, a perfect quick knit for any fan of Formula One.

These are worked cuff down following written instructions with accompanying charts. This pattern uses a heel flap and gusset and a modified wedge toe.

Sizes: 1=40sts, 2=48sts, 3=56sts, 4=64sts
This equates to a foot/ankle measurement of 7.3(8.7)10.1 inches. I recommend picking a size that is roughly 0-15% smaller than your own measurements.

Yarn:
These socks require 2 colours of DK yarn. You’re invited to play around with the yarn choice to create your own unique socks.

Approx 150g/450m total (80g/240m MC, 70g/210m CC)

Needles: 3mm& 3.25mm (or needles that obtain gauge)

Gauge: 24 sts x 28 rows in 4 inches on 3.25mm in Chart 1 after blocking
